Friendly Persuasion

Somewhat overlong and pointless, yet engaging film about a group of friendly Quakers and their involvement in the Civil War. Gary Cooper does a fine job in his role as a humble yet daring leader of a Quaker household. This film has lost most of its appeal over time.
