Funny Girl

Barbra Streisand stars in this musical about an ambitious young actress trying to make it big in show business. She starts off as an unknown reject, but makes out to be one of the biggest stars on Broadway. Entertaining, but not as fresh or exciting a film like it should be. The songs are only mediocre, sung at great lengths by Streisand who gave an Oscar winning performance. Fans of Streisand or musicals are sure to enjoy this. Followed by a sequel: Funny Lady.
