Guarding Tess

Nicolas Cage stars as a secret service man who, in his opinion, has the worst assignment in his profession: guarding the widowed former first lady, Tess, played by Shirley MacLaine. Cage feels that this is hurting his career and Tess is a royal pain in the butt so he does everything possible to get out of this mess. Unfortunately, Tess won't let him. "Guarding Tess" is entertaining and the unlikely teaming of Cage and MacLaine is an unexpected delight. The ending is predictable and corny, however.
