Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Every bit as good as 'The Sorcerer's Stone,' the sequel is yet another riveting adventure within the halls of Hogwarts (or, as spelled in Yiddish, Hogschwartz). This time, various students are turning up paralyzed and nobody knows who did it. However, they think it correlates with the opening of the chamber of secrets. (How do they know that? Well, some mysterious person wrote it in blood.) So Harry Potter and his pals must figure out the culprit and bring he, she, or it to justice. Kenneth Branaugh's performance as the egotistical celebrity wizard is a real treat to watch! Kudos for him! However, on a negative note, the overly-cheerful ending borders painful, and I almost knocked the film's grade down a notch. But I decided not to be such a muggle and stick to the movie's well-deserved A+ rating. Chris Columbus makes yet another masterpiece and is on the right path to making this projected 7-movie series a future centerpiece for the family living room. Heck, if the next five films will be any good, I'm likely to own them without the kids!
