High Noon

This classic is a highly respected western starring Gary Cooper as a recently married and a retiring marshal of a small town. He was about to leave town until he discovered that his nemesis, a dangerous outlaw he sent to prison several years back, just got paroled and he is coming back at noon for revenge. Cooper must form a small army of deputies before the clock strikes twelve. The suspense builds up remarkably well in this brilliant little film.
