Krippendorf's Tribe

Richard Dreyfuss stars as a world renown anthropologist who forgets a deadline and ends up presenting a totally made up tribe in New Guinea to a group of fellow anthropologists. His imaginary tribe ends up getting so much attention from the media that Dreyfuss ends up digging himself deeper down a hole of lies. There are no actual laughs, but there are points of amusement which makes this film watchable.
