The Land Before Time

One of the few successful films from Don Bluth. A group of young dinosaurs join forces, after being separated from their parents, on the quest to find the "Great Valley" where all dinos live in peace and harmony with an unlimited supply of food. These poor starving creatures to it ambitiously, while still having their problems with the big bad tyrannosaurus rex, Bigtooth. The Land Before Time is entertaining, but possibly too depressing for some. A good animated adventure. Followed by a number of direct-to-video sequels.
