Lawrence of Arabia

Probably the best adventure film ever made! Peter O'Toole is the lead in his first starring role, as an eccentric Englishman, T.E. Lawrence, who begins working in the desert. He ends up leading a large group of Arabs to rebellion from the Turks, the occupiers of Arabia, while encountering ample problems in the process. It's length exceeds to four hours long, but every second is worth it. It's exciting and very well done with terrific acting. Lawrence of Arabia is a true story, and it gives the viewers a look at an interesting but not widely known chunk of history. Truly an exquisite epic; everybody should watch it! It deservedly earned the number five position on the AFI's best pictures ever made.
