A League of Thier Own

From director Penny Marshall comes this very entertaining film about a group of girls who join the all women's professional baseball league. There was a sudden need for a women's baseball team when all the male players went off to fight in World War II. Probably the best thing about this film is the characterization. By watching this movie only once, we could write a one page speculation on each character's personality. A lot of the material is very funny and the acting is very entertaining by an all-star cast. Yes, and it's even fully equipped with a touchy ending. Most definitely worth seeing.
