Liar, Liar

Jim Carrey practically makes this film single-handedly with his incredibly gifted slapstick talents. He plays a lawyer with an extreme fibbing problem. It gets so bad that he even lies to his only child, five year old Max. On his birthday, Max is extremely disappointed that his father broke his promise and didn't attend the party, so right before he blows out the birthday candles, he makes a wish that his father cannot tell a lie for just one day. Guess what? It comes true! Now Carrey, a hot shot lawyer has to go through an entire day without lying and as we all know, that's impossible!
