Kirstie Alley, a single mother, searches far and wide for the perfect father for her child when she realizes that he's is right in front of her nose. This film's highlight is a voice, that only the audience hears, that speaks for the child giving a "baby's view" on the yarn of the first days of his life. It's charming and funny and is noted to have begun John Travolta's comeback. It could have been an excellent movie for children, but some of the film's content ruined it for family status. Followed by two non-acclaimed sequels: Look Who's Talking Too and Look Who's Talking Now.
