Meatballs

Before I sat down to watch Meatballs, I thought it would be an immature and idiotic flick ridden with stupid and tasteless jokes. Well, I was right, but what I didn't expect is that it actually does it quite well! The tasteless jokes are actually quite humorous, but the end is sometimes disgustingly heartwarming. Meatballs is far from a classic comedy, but it did seem to inspire a whole slew of summer camp comedies and this one is probably the best of them. Still needed improvement. Bill Murray plays the head of the camp counselors as his first starring role.
