Chevy Chase stars in the first of four Vacation films. He decides to take his kids on a little road trip to Wally World, a movieland version of Disney World, that is a gazillion miles from home. Together they suffer through several "inconveniences". Usually funny farce from director Harold Ramis and screenwriter, John Hughes. It's very enjoyable but uneven. Followed by National Lampoon's European Vacation.
