I want to mention something right off; I have nothing against romantic films. But Pearl Harbor is a film based on a story that honestly doesn't need romantic ties in it, but the filmmakers put it in anyway. To make it worse, the romance was done in a terribly corny way. (Some guys shall hurl!) Aside from the romance (which takes up about half of this three hour film) there are good battle scenes, covering from Japan's planning of the event to them actually attacking; very nice special effects! Had they taken out the romance altogether and put in something a little more interesting instead, it would have been greatly improved.
