Philadephia Experiment, the

Unlikely science fiction flick about a navy ship in 1943 being part of a breakthrough experiment which was designed to make the vessel disappear on radars. It ends up making the ship disappear visibly! Soon after, two soldiers jump off the ship and are transported to the year 1984. "The Philadelphia Experiment" doesn't contain surprise or engagement a film like this really needs. It gets credit for its creativity. Unfortunately, there is a hokey romance between sailor Michael Pere and futurewoman Nancy Allen.
