Adequate but unnecessary remake of Neil Simon's 1975 movie stars two very dependable comedians: Woody Allen and Peter Falk. They play a has-been comedy duo from the 1960's who haven't spoken to each other since they split up. When they attempt to reunite for a motion picture appearance, it's extremely difficult getting them to cooperate. The Matthau/Burns team of the predecessor came off much better, but this update has good points. The original Sunshine Boys is highly recommended as opposed to this one.
