James Garner stars in this hilarious western spoof that will surely please all. One day, Garner rides into a town that has recently been struck with gold fever. It is probably one of the most roughest and wild towns in the West. He takes the job of sheriff to the surprise of the mayor (because they haven't had a successful one recently) and must bring the vicious outlaws, The Danbys, to their knees. It plays with every western cliche out there! While it isn’t as goofy or quite as funny as Mel Brook's "Blazing Saddles," this is a western spoof that the entire family can enjoy together. Recommended!
