Steve Martin, Chevy Chase and Martin Short star in this funny but uneven comedy about a trio of silent film stars who travel to Santa Poco, Mexico to star in their next show about The Three Amigos who gracefully conquer the bandito, El Guapo, leaving the citizens of the town he's terrorizing free. However, what the town failed to tell them is that this isn't make-believe but the real thing! It's a good flick with three of the best modern-day comedians doing their stuff, but some of the subplots should have been written better. The kids will like it!
