Wag the Dog

A brilliant, if a bit tedious, political satire. A political adviser, played by Robert De Niro, and a film producer, played by Dustin Hoffman, stages a war to divert the media's attention from the president who recently molested a minor. The premise is extremely interesting, especially to those who particularly enjoy political flicks. However, those who don't particularly get their kicks from complex political premises, they probably won't get much of a kick from this film. I, for one, found "Wag the Dog" to be an intelligent satire that was up to my tastes.
