A great cast and an enjoyable script makes "Waking Ned Devine" a blast! Ian Bannen and David Kelly, two lesser known actors, star as two old Irish buddies residing in a small village. Everyone in this town loves playing the lottery and when villager Ned Devine wins, he literally dies with excitement. Lotto tickets must be claimed by the person who bought it and when that person's dead with no living relatives or heirs, the ticket is unfortunately invalid. So Kelley pretends that he's Ned Devine. Wonderful entertainment with some very funny moments.
