Royal Air Maroc's Boeing 747-400 approaching Montreal

Royal Air Maroc 747-400.
Location: Dorval Airport, Montreal, Québec, Canada
Royal Air Maroc flew 747-400s into Montreal via New York City from Casablanca. This airline has been doing a brisk business ever since starting this service back when intercontinental flights were shifted north to Mirabel Airport from Dorval. Interestingly enough Montrealers were able to fly Royal Air Maroc into JFK on their flights as they had rights to transport local traffic on that portion of the Casablanca route. Today they've switched to the newer Boeing 767-300 and fly the Casablanca route nonstop. Instead Egyptair now offers the YUL-JFK service on it's 777 service to Cairo which in 2003 will also switch to a nonstop flight. Royal Air Maroc serves the large Arab/Muslim community in Montreal and Marocco is a popular tourist destination for many canadians ofering one of the most exotic locals found anywhere on the planet. This is a rare airline in North America and as a spotter I'm pretty happy to see it here at home on a regular basis.
