The Dave Kimmel Memorial Disc Golf Weekend has become a true six state tradition. Every July, people flock to Western Nebraska to take part in the weekend's many events, including Friday Night doubles, glow disc, The Carhenge Challenge (new for '03), and Saturday's main event, the PDGA-sanctioned Dave Kimmel Memorial Open.
Once again, the burning question as we approach tourney time is which state will take home the Open Pro division trophy? So far, Colorado and Nebraska are tied with 2 victories each. Will one of these two states claim dominance with a win this year, or will a newcomer be crowned? South Dakota, perhaps? Minnesota? Iowa? Wyoming? Who wants it? Only time will tell...
