Welcome to our home page. We live with our wee Westie, Angus, and our Shi Tzuh, Jocko, in Lantana,
a planned community NW of Dallas, TX. We have two lovely daughters, Katie and Colleen, and grandchildren Cameron, Aiden, and
Jade, who also live in Dallas. In June 2000 our daughters traveled with us to Carmichael, Scotland, to discover their

John grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, graduating from Ga. Tech with a degree in Aerospace Engineering.
He retired in August 2005 from Raytheon, a major missile systems contractor. He enjoys researching his Scottish
roots, having traced his ancestry back to Duncan Carmichael who was in Halifax Co. VA by 1753, and is active in
Clan Carmichael USA. John and Margo have made four trips to Carmichael, Scotland, the seat of Clan Carmichael
for over 800 years.

Margo grew up in Pensacola, Florida. Her Dad was in the Navy and her Mom was a talented artist from
New Orleans. They moved to Orlando where Margo met John and they were married in 1969. She has a degree in Art Education from
the University of Florida and for several years has been writing a novel which she hopes to publish soon. She and John have
lived in Hampton, VA (1969-1971), Orlando, FL (1971-1986), Dallas, TX (1986-1999), Tucson AZ (1999-2005),
and back to Dallas in August 2005.
