On behalf of UCHS Class '71, I would like to express my sincerest appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of the multi-high school reunion. The event would not be as successful if not for the enthusiastic support, camaraderie and overwhelming response. I would like to publicly thank several people: from Class '71 my partner Elijah, George and Jane Ruiz, Rene and Thelma Agustin for their dedication and hardwork, Edward Ataop and Elizabeth Bongolan-Ataop for being Class '71's strongest link, Vic Badar and Remy Tablada-Badar for their unselfish support to the club, Rosie Queyquep-Percell, Flor Fabro, Alice Lapena-Cacayuran, Gerry Casison, Marie Tabayoyong-Balacy, Digna Mepa-Madrid, Esther Ceralvo-Diaz, John and Santee Galinato, and Rey Calivo for their assistance to ensure the success of the party. Several friends outside of the organization were vital to the unforgettable outcome of the event. Johnny Soriano, the city's strongest link, contacted more people than anyone I know and sold the most number of tickets. Thank you Manangs Vicky de Gala-Calacsan, Edith Bergado-Sison, Nanie Soriano-dela Cruz, Simeon Calacsan, Jhunn Alejandro, and Roselilly Morales-Jacob. Many thanks to Class '65 and '70 for their monetary donations, and Jun Bergado for the roast pigs. Both the dinner/dance and potluck party were well attended and some did not want either parties to end.

The whole dinner dance was videotaped from beginning to end. If you want copies of the event on DVD, please call me, or George/Jane Ruiz to reserve your copy. But before we put it all together, I would like to ask for copies of your old class pictures from high school days so we can insert them into the program. Deadline for submission is August 15.
