Jask feat. Joci_"Beautiful"_Soulfuric RecordsThe Thaichild out of Tampa, Fl. returns with his first venture in the vocal territory. Here he features female vocalist Joci also out of Tampa on this sweet lush house gem. Very nice and uplifiting lyrics with a touch of diviness on the production, plus an added remix from Brian Tappert by the title "Joci In My Room." This one being in the same vein as "Tracy In My Room," using the same guitar sample for peak time audiences. Overall a very nice vocal track with all the stylings that will get that floor working, definitely has been working for me on the decks as of late.

The Knightman returns with another crankin sampler, this time with an 80's twist. My favorite being "My Mind," an 80's like driving track full of energy from beginning to end. "Dancing In Paradise," is more on the disco tip with the "Dancing All Night" sample as the basis for the structure of the track, also peak time material for the disko.

New York based dj Niko serves up a righteous dub based house piece that lies somewhere between Worship and Soma. "Youth Of Today" features Mike Ladd(of Infectious fame) dropping some science on the mic about Judgement Day, while the dub basslines twist in and out with skankin house rhythms. The flip side features "Collie," which is a deep atmospheric tech-house number with very spacey like synths. Nice one!

Defenders Of The Faith(Wicked dj Markie Mark & Neil Harris) return with a spaced out dubber in realm of psychedlia. Expect lots of thick basslines and dub like effects on this one with a prophetic spoken word piece over the top. A flip side mix is also included with a more broken beat like twist, and a acapella to with some extra bonus beats thrown in there. Respect!
Nectar_"Big World"_Grayhound Records
Los Angeles based Adam Tenenbaum comes correct once again with an arsenal of dub heavy basslines over tripped out sounds and samples. Expect three tracks of drummy spaced out funkiness and beats, very dub heavy on the effects. Bless.

The master delivers another beautiful piece of deep house music from the soul, this time on a vocal tip. Nice soaring vocals that drift like the clouds on a sunny day. Also included are some nice mixes from Chris Gray and Glenn Underground which add even more to the beauty of this already amazing song. Praise be!
Q Burn's Abstract Message_"Innocent/Differently Remixes"_Eighth Dimension
Off of Q-Burn's album "Invisible Airline" come these dope new remixes featuring Lisa Shaw on vocals for the dancefloor and beyond. First up is the remixes of "Innocent" by Lovesky & King Britt. Lovesky delivers a nice techy remix with ethereal landscapes and designs, while King Britt's "Scuba" mix takes you deep underwater with broken beats and lush vocal arrangements. On the flip you got the "Differently" remixes by Funky Transport & Neon Heights. Funky Transport delivers a bangin tech-house reworking, and Neon Heights takes a back seat with a more chillout version with mellower beats and rhythms. A very nice remix EP for all those different moods and grooves.
Femi Kuti_"Fight To Win/Do Your Best Remixes"_MCA
Son of Fela Kuti Femi gets a pumpin reworkin for the disco, featuring remixes by Ernest Saint Laurent, and Faze Action. Ernest's remix is a driving number with echoes of Femi's voice reverberating in and out over a horn driven groove. While Faze Action's remix keeps the original Afro feel with the congas being the emphasis on the drive. Overall very nice remixes with much soul!
Deepstar feat. Donna Allen_"Sugar"_Soulfuric Deep
Get ready for a sassy and soulful vocal number from Donna Allen("He Is The Joy" fame) herself, with Marc Pomeroy behind the console. A nice driving number with lots of emotion and flavor for the dancefloor, also featuring a nice dub from Jazz-N-Groove that is deep and bottom heavy! Lookout for this one!
