What qualifies as a vintage Macintosh?

If you want to follow Apple's lead, then there are two types of Macintoshes: The PowerPC and the Non-PowerPC. But this vague defination does not answer the question of what is a vintage Mac...

A Vintage Macintosh falls under serveral catagories, but must fulfill 1 requirement:

It must not be a PowerPC Macintosh!

The Vintage Mac Catagories are:

[ Classic Macs ] [ Classic Macs II ] [ Mac IIs ] [ Mac LCs ]
[ Mac Centris ] [ Mac Quatras ]
[ Mac 500's ] [ Mac NonPPC PowerBooks ]

Support for these machines are dwindling. In my attempt in filling the gaps caused by drought of support, I will try to get as much information together as possible within the confines of this WebPage.
