We live in a representative democracy; therefore if you are unhappy with a specific issue, contact your representative, or senator. They are there to serve and to be accountable to their constituency. If you can't find them at those links, try the Congressional E-mail Directory.
Legislation is being passed every day which withers away our rights. It is up to us to
try to keep up with it all, as the day has passed when we can just trust our representatives
to serve and do the right thing without monitoring and public input (unless you have a really great representative.)
