Nintendo's Wii Becoming Big Hit in Nursing Homes Nationwide

Those who knew Eric, knew how he loved to play games....whether it be contact sports or electronic he was all about having fun.  I remember when his class did a project involving senior citizens and how taken he was with them.....how he loved learning all about their backgrounds.  But one thing he did mention was how depressing the nursing home was and once we saw a way to improve- in however small a way- upon that situation we had to go for it!

Sadly, due to many family members deaths, Eric's memorial fund grew large enough to allow us to purchase 4 Wii units with an extra set of controllers for each unit.  We decided to donate one unit to two nursing homes in Cincinnati and two in Cleveland,  where our Uncle Ivan and my dad (Marty) resided.  The week of May 11th we delivered a unit to both Cedar Village and The Lodge here in Cincinnati.  Below is a link to the thank you we have received from Cedar Village.  As we receive other thank you's they will be similarly posted.

Thanks to all of you who have donated to Eric's fund and made acts of kindness such as these possible.  We hope to continue to do spontaneous acts of kindness in his- and other's memories.

Love-  Karen, Mike & Larry
