Brandon Shuping makes his home in Mingo County, WV.
and has been with RT23 going on two seasons now.
Brandon plays mandolin, and sings harmony in the band.
He also takes college classes full time hoping to someday become a history teacher.
Brandon is very versatile. He started as a banjo player when first joining the band, and he enjoys fiddlin around during the week giving fiddle lessons on the side. His father long time banjo picker and musician, Garland Shuping, picked for Jim and Jesse and the Virginia Boys for several years, and recorded on several of thier albums.
He also recorded several of his own recordings before passing away 3 years ago.
Brandon brings his own unique style to the band, and is a joy to watch and listen to on the stage.
