Biscuits:Start with 2 lbs Self Rising Flour
Enough Crisco (butter flavor is best) to cut
until looks like corn meal.
Buttermilk- add until "sticky".
Sausage Gravy:
One roll cheap sausage crumbled brown in
iron skillet. (Put cooked sausage in bowl
leave the grease)
Flour hot grease til pasty- bubbling.

Turn biscuits onto floured surface knead lightly...adding more flour as needed. Roll out (floured pin) cut with glass or biscuit cutter. place
on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 400 for about 15-20
minutes...I like mine BROWN
Always remember...the closer you put them the "higher"
they get.
Pour milk into bubbling grease/flour mixture...start with 1/2
of your skillet...You can always add more if too thick.
return cooked sausage to pan...i like alot of pepper
in mine.
Reduce heat Stir until desired consistancy.
Serve over hot biscuits sliced tomatoes on the side
