Hi, this is Evan. I'm a 44 year old living and working in Houston, Texas. I have an ten year old son Kyle Erik and a eight year old daughter, Emma Lily. I know most parents are biased but I have been blessed with he best kids in the world and they are the light of my life..

I was born in Aberdeen, Scotland on May 16th 1960, which makes me a Taurus - although I don't believe in any of that bull! First of all I lived in Johnshaven before moving to Turriff where I attended primary school. In 1972 I moved to Forres and attended Forres Academy until 1977 when I went back to Aberdeen to study for a BA in Business Management at Robert Gordon's Institute of Technology. After graduating in 1981 I joined Rockall Data Services, an international records management company. Whilst at Rockall, I lived and worked in various places including Aberdeen, London, Stavanger (Norway) and finally Houston, Texas.
In 1993 I left Rockall to take up a two year assignment for one of their competitors, Kestrel Overseas, who made me an attractive offer to go to Jakarta (Indonesia) to establish a new Data Center. Going to Asia for a couple of years seemed like an interesting adventure
In 1995, at the end of my contract, I returned to Houston. I wanted to stay within the IT sector but was a bit bored with hard copy records management. Firmly believing that the future lies with digital technology, I joined my current employers, a state of the art Information Management and Technology Company.
