I would have to say that my biggest hobby is GURPS. I love it man. It kicks my ass! GURPS stands for Generic Universal Roleplaying System. GURPS games are the most realistic roleplaying games available. It's insane how much research goes into making the sourcebooks for this game. One of the great things about GURPS is that it is not limited to just one time period like some other games. An adventure can be set anywhere in the past, present or future, or even in some world of your own creation. Me and some of my friends at WVU play every time we get the chance. We have a few adventures currently going on. Check out Jim's (our Game Master) page for details.

One of my other big hobbies is Angband.  Very addictive game.  Don't even think about starting to play  game unless you have some time to kill.  A good bit of time.  Especially if you want to win.  I've been playing for almost three years now and I've only made it down as far as level 55 or so out of 100 levels.

Check out my just added Angband Page.

I'm also suffering through a sever addiction to Escape Velocity and its sequel, Escape Velocity:  Override.  It's one of those game where you fly around the galaxy and try to make your fortune, helping or hindering different groups along the way.  You can become a pirate or a trader or even suck up to one of the governments.  The game uses a plug-in architecture to allow third party developers to add items/missions/personalities/ships/whatever to the game.  It's even possible to replace everything in the game and have an entire new universe to play around in just by adding a plug-in.

I have actually spent enough time messing with this game to have written a plug-in for it.  It allows the player to purchase all of the flavored ships in the game (i.e. the Azdgari Warship, or the Zachit Arada).  The ships not only come with the goodies normally on the flavored ships, they also come in the colors (i.e. the Igadzra Arada is its off yellow type of color).  Man I must have been bored that night huh?  Anyway it was all done in ResEdit and Photoshop.  Oh, you really should also get the EVO Target Graphics plug if you don't have it.

I also play Realmz alot.  Way too much since I've come home and can't play GURPS very often.  If you've got a Mac you should give it a try.  There's ten or fifteen races I think, don't rightly recall because it's been a while since I have had to make new characters for it.  It's a lot like D&D.  If you've ever played one of TSR's games you should catch on fast.

Well that's about all I really do.  Other than class that is, but that don't quite count as a hobby.  Oh, I do surf the net alot too.  :-)  Wanna play Tic Tac Toe?
