Welcome to Evan's DeLorean Pages!

Hello, and welcome to Evan's DeLorean pages.  These pages are going to be more of a pictorial site than per say a historical site, the story is long and complicated.  Besides, I think most would like to see pictures of  these great machines rather than read about them! There will be some historical content, though!

To see a bigger version of some pictures, please click the thumbnail.

So, enjoy the site!

Evan

This is a DeLorean, with it's back to the ground rather than the future.  This occured during one of the many riots at the horrible Michigan State University.  Elsewhere, I imagine couches, books, and small college professors were being burnt.

A nice frontal and rear view of a DeLorean from the brochure..
Think this looks a lot like a Lotus Esprit's chassis? There's a reason-Lotus was hired to design and tune the DeLorean's chassis and suspension.  The weight balance and tight suspension mad the DMC-12 a good handling car-and it didn't fish tail Porshce 911 style with it's engine out the rear.
DeLoreans in the warehouse in USA, where final trim and faulty build problems were installed and (hopefully) eliminated.
A technical picture of the DeLorean.
A nice pic of a DMC in what looks like Arizona's Red Rock areas.

DeLorean's Spotter's Guide

1981 DeLorean-note the beveled hood, and the gas flap by the cowl edge of the hood on the driver's side.

1982 DeLorean-note the lack of a fuel filler flap on the hood-the gas tank cap remained in the same location as in 81, but in order to reach it, the hood needs to be opened.
1983 DeLorean-note the completely flat hood-no bevel.  Also, a nameplate with the script "DeLorean" was added to the right corner of the hood.

Arrested for speeding or cocaine possession? You be the judge! -Thanks to Rob Starling for this one.

These are pictures of a very rare and valuable European Market Spec DeLorean.  The DMC company was going to launch right hand drive models into the European community, but never had the chance.  Some major differences of the European specs are the marker lights on the front fender, the six block tailights which incorporate tailights, amber turnsignals, backup lights, and fog tailights, and the additional switch on the center console with a red light for fog tailights.  Fog tailights are red colored foglights that are mounted in the rear of a car, mainly due to merry ol' England's fog.
