Evolution- Complete with teaching resources, this PBS site explores Darwin, change, extinction, survival, sex, humans, and religion.
Science Teacher's Resource Center- Complete with lessons organized by topic, this is a great high school science resource.

The Flying Turtle- This site describes the basic principles that influence and control how things work in nature, such as photosynthesis, energy changes, physics, and lots more. Lots of graphics and an interesting connection of principles could provide sparks for further research.
