Barcelona`s hopes of retaining their Primera Division title suffered a crushing blow as they slumped to a 3-0 defeat against mid-table Mallorca. The win was the island club's first in seven games, and its first ever in the Nou Camp.

 

Real loose their hopes of winning  La Liga as they draw with Sociedad.

Real Madrid were very lucky to grab one point from this match. Their defense was atrocious as well as the attack. They now nearly lost all their chances to win La Liga and all their hopes in this season are turned towards Tuesday's clash with Manchester United at Bernabeu. (2.April.2000)
