The KPT: who, when, where and why... WHO?: This team consist of seven Kuwaiti photographers and they are(from up left on top photo):
(1)BASEM MOUSA ALDARWISH. (2)SULAIMAN ALI HAYDAR. (3)YOUSEF ALI AL-ASFOUR. (4)FAHED A. AL-SHAYEE. (5)BAHAADEEN M. AL-QAZWINI. (6)AHMED A. DASHTI. (7)MEYTHEM A.A. ABDEL-RASOOL. WHEN?: This team consisted in 1998 when they showed there first exibition in 18/April/1998;and the second in 12/April/1999. WHERE?: Usually the KPT exibition take it's place in the Radisson SAS HOTEL KUWAIT. WHY?: Main targets of the team: 1] to spread the photographic art education and refinment. 2] to emphasize it's slogan"PHOTOGRAPHY IS THE ART OF SEEING". 3] to urge other groups to be formed. 4] to raise the standard of photography art in Kuwait. 5] to guarantee the continuity of the photographic activity in Kuwait. |
