ROSALINA.
Rosalinda is the story of a 20 year old girl, with high school studies, whose
mother named Soledad (Angélica María) has been convicted of Gerardo's
murder. Gerardo’s is Fernando José's (Fernando Carrillo) father. But the truth is
Alfredo (Manuel Saval), Soledad's husband and Valéria's (Lupita ferrer) had
committed the murder.
Rosalinda is a very actrattive young girl that works in a flowershop and
meets Fernando José in a restaurant. He pretends to be a modest pianist but,
the truth is that he is a very rich lawyer. Rosalinda and Fernando fell in love
but his mother doesn't want them to get married. She wishes a woman of a
higher class to her son.
They get married but Valéria finds out that Rosalinda is Soledad's daughter,
the presumed murder of Fernando's father. Fernando, deceived, left Rosalinda
alone. Meanwhile, Rosalinda gives birth to Fernando's daughter that is taken
away from her by her mother in law.
Rosalinda becomes insane and she is interned in a clinic for mental
patients. The hospital sets on fire but she manages to escape Alex (Víto
Noriega) takes her to his house and helps her to become in a famous singer.
But the story is not finished yet. When Rosalinda hears one of Fernando's
concerts all the memories come back to her mind and she runs away from the
place. A car runs over her and she gets scars on her face because of the
accident.
A surgeon restore her face and beauty. When finally Alfredo tells that he
is guilty of Gerardo's murder, Fernando feels that his love for Rosalinda
reborn and the couple can be happy again with their daughter.
