1/2 Cup finely chopped fresh Dill
1 teaspoon mustard seed
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
salt and freshly ground pepper
1 cup white wine vinegar
2 cup thinly sliced [in rings] white onions [Vidalia if possible]

1. Combine everything except the onions in a glass or ceramic bowl. Mix well and let stand for 30 minutes.
2. Add onions and stir well. Cover and marinate overnight in refrigerator.
Goes well with many grilled meat and fish recipes. Use sweet white Vidalia onions when you can.
