2 Tomatoes, fresh and cut up
1/2 tesapoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
freshly ground pepper
2 1/2 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Pat of Butter

Place tomatoes in saucepan and add brown sugar, salt and pepper.
Cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
Set aside.
In another patn heat but DO NOT BOIL milk.
Add baking soda to tomatoes and stir, then pour into heated milk immediately.
Serve with a pat of butter.
3 parts milk to 2 parts tomatoes.
