Ikan betina kurang berwarna. Yang betina juga tidak berlawan. Membiak dengan berteloh di sarang buih. Yang jantan akan jaga sarangnya.
The female fighting fish is less colourful. The female does not have the habit of fighting. The breed by laying eggs in bubble nests which the male builts. The male will then guard the nest.
