Sports
Rainbowisland has champions in many sports. This is a direct result of "youth in movement" law of the late 1960s which dictated that every child attending secundary school has to participate in a sport outside school hours.
The sport that profited most from this
law is football (= soccer). Rainbowisland has had many successes in international
football, including 2 world titles and 2 European titles for the national squad and
numerous European cups for clubs.
The top teams of the last few years are KV Nemechle, Racing Nemechle, SK Vioolse, TTB
Kasen, Club Ligopolis, Rainbow Montana, R Montana and KFC Libet.
The highest division in Rainbowisland football is the first division (locally called the "first class") which contains 18 clubs. The second division also has 18 teams. Below that, there are 2 third divisions and 4 fourth divisions. Below the fourth division, there are 8 provincial leagues.
