This site is just for old times sake
Mood:  a-ok
Now Playing: Not a shit!!! Why would you even care?
Topic: Update
It's a long time ago since I used this host (Tripod), so you better get your lazy browser to load the new URL: http://saivertweb.no-ip.com

(Hopefully that lazy browser won't be as lazy as IE).

Finally updated my site, so people can download the files they need!

Topic: Update
I have finally updated my site, so people can download the files they need! Tripod now refuses access to .EXE files, so previously when people clicked links to such files they were presented a page by Tripod stating that such files potentially contained computer viruses. I do not host files with computer viruses in them. I hate computer viruses, and recently had to reinstall Windows and a bunch of drivers on the computers at school. Three times!!! So trust me, I don't wanna be part of this nasty machinery!

Upload, upload and upload...
Did I forget to mention upload??
Well.. here it goes:
I have uploaded a lot of files this time.
All my application should now be in place (except where noted).
The monetary info about norwegian money is now also uploaded so the link isn't dead anymore.
I have only seen one post by users to the "Crap from Saivert" page, and no one have used the site query to give comments. This is bad, if you watch this, then take time to give me some feedback by either sending me an e-mail or submitting a survey on the "site query" page. A link to this page is located at my index page. now i'm going to check inbox... bye...

NxS Balloon Tip Notification Plug-in update!
I have finally redone the NxS Balloon Tip Notification Plug-in once again. This time I have redesigned the prefs. page and added some new format tags you can use.
As always the url is: http://members.tripod.com/files_saivert/files/winampdev.html Fine!

Updated site (once again... puuh...)

I have refinished my homepage again. This time I have used <--#include virtual="file.html"--> tags to move out some common html from the pages. This is really cool.
I don't have to search & replace in my files anymore. Just change it in one place and it shows up everywhere. I really hope Tripod doesn't remove this feature from use by members.

The only downside (from Tripods point of view) is that the ads are inserted at the bottom of my pages instead of at the top and bottom. Tripod searches for the BODY tag in in my pages but since I got the body tag separated in a file included by the above tag, Tripod just inserts it at the bottom instead.

We may just hope that Tripod doesn't see this as a misuse of their services (abuse, broken agreement). It is purely coincidental.

Updated site (once again), uploaded Balloon Tip Plug-in
I have finally updated my site once again, and uploaded the latest build of Balloon Tip Plug-in. This time the plug-in is written in C++ (in contrast to the previous which was written using Borland Delphi). I use Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 for the matter, and it produces very small DLL files. I have to stick to a complete different code set, as opposed to when I was working in Delphi (the VCL - Visual Component Library helped me a lot). I had to reinvent the wheel sort of speak when I moved from Delphi to Visual C++. A TrayIcon VCL component does not exist in C++, so I wrote a source file named traystuff.cpp with two functions to do the tray work.

Winamp Forums

I'm still replying to post on the Winamp forums. Use above link to go directly to Balloon Tip thread.

Nice and sunny
It should be winter here in Norway, but for some
reason the snow doesn't fall down to the thirsty ground. I don't mind, but I like snow in december.
If this keeps going on for another two weeks I'm considering buying a trailer load of snow from
some other place.
