The vampire's back, as in a dream

I had a dream I was locked in a series of rooms and I had to kill off vampires, zombies, and werewolves. I was stuck in one room with an albino vampire woman, I kept on trying to kill her but all I was doing was leaving shallow horizonal cuts across her back. After every hit I'd apologize and she would say that it was okay. Watercolors, acrylics, watercolor pencils, and the wrong end of the paint brush.
