It is located near Stonington, Mi. about 30 miles away from Rapid River, Mi. It was put into service in 1866, and decommisioned in 1936. A fire burned the house in 1959. All that's left today is the tower. It's in a very desolate but beautiful place. It's worth a look if you're in the area.
