Here are some photos of my recent motor tear down and rebuild.  I lost most of the pictures of it coming out of the truck because the batteries went dead on the camera..  But, I have some good ones of it being assembled. I left the bottom end alone,  (hee, hee... It only has 130k ! It is not broken in yet!! ) I did, however, sand blast the block and paint it, I also had the heads from my parts truck re-built and the valve shims milled to spec for the valve adjustment.  I installed a new water pump and timing belt, I had the intake hot tanked and cleaned, I cleaned the injectors and changed all the o-rings.  It also got all new belts and hoses and a new clutch.  I have to mention I the great bunch of guys, who helped me wrench on the weekends, from the "Yankee Toys"... A great bunch of guys who made the job go by so much better!!  Well, that should take the motor well into the 250k mark and we will just see what we replace then....
