Pokok ini adalah sejenis tumbuhan renek gunung tinggi. Ia boleh dijumpai hidup atas batu-batan, atau sebagai epifit diatas pohon pokok. Bunganya berwarna merah, dan keluar dari ketiak daun atau pada hujung dahan.

This plant is a high mountain bush that can be found growing on rocks, or epiphytic. Flowers bright red, and at leaf axils or end of branches.
