Pohonnya bersal dari Negara Thai, Malaysia dan Indonesia. Daunnya sangat harum dan digunakan dalam penyediaan makan asli seperti ulam dan lauk tradisi. Ditanam daripada keratan batang. Mudah untuk ditanam.

They are native of Thailand, Malaysia dan Indonesia. The leaves are aeromatic and are used raw in some ulam (traditional salads) and traditional dishes. Planting can be by stem cuttings. It is an easy to grow herb.
