Pokok bunga ini berasal dari Malaysia, India, Negeri Thai dan Sumatera di Indonesia. Pokok rimba ini boleh mencapai 30 meter. Bunga berjambak, dihujung dahan dan di ketiak daun. Pokok ini biasa ditanam di tepi jalan dan di taman oleh kerana bunganya harum.

This flowering tree is the native of Malaysia, India, Thailand and Sumatera in Indonesia. The forest plant can reach the height of 30 meters. The flowers are in small clasters at the end of stems or at leaf axils. Commonly planted as a wayside tree as well as in parks because of its scented flowers.
