Sejenis rumput "sedge" yang berbedza saiznya, dari setinggi 15 cm hingga 80 cm tinggi. Daunnya semua daripada batangnya yang berada pada permukaan tanah. Daunnya tajam dan boleh melukakan jika tidak berhati-hati. Bunganya dalam satu kelompok bulat.

A variable size sedge from about 15 cm to as tall as 80 cm. Leaves are all from the base of the stem, sharp and will cut if not handled properly. The flower bunch is in the form of a single round head.
