Aruuuuuuuuba! Big update, first off the problem with my website and Netscape is of course...a Microsoft problem. Apparently Netscape Navigator versions 4 and earlier do not work with Microsoft's FrontPage server extensions. Version 6 and later do work though. Thanks to the nice person in the Tech support Forum on Planetfortress.com for pointing that out to me. NEXT the BIG update! Back from vacation in Aruba! I have 15 pictures I am going to upload soon for everyone to see. I must say that one of the best kept secret about Aruba is what the island looks like. It's a Caribbean island so you think lush jungle tropical environment. This couldn't be further from the truth. Aruba is a desert island with no rain and very dry, except for around the hotels. You can see in the pictures that Aruba mostly looks like the Red Rocks area in Arizona combined with the Big Sur cost line in California. It's also very windy all day every day, but that's a good thing. Being so close to the Equator the wind makes the sun and heat very comfortable. Don't let that fool you, you can get burnt by the sun at 9 in the morning as we found out the hard way.

Anyway, once the pictures are uploaded I'll put the link up here on the front page. Some of them are panoramic and rather large. I hope you have a big monitor or a high resolution. If not, get that scroll finger warmed up. :-)

Jamaica pictures are up from our honeymoon here: http://members.tripod.com/flydino/jamaica

We spent 2 weeks at the Couples Negril, Jamaica resort. It was a lot of work but we suffered through it :-). We spent our time eating, drinking, laying in the sun (and rain), playing pool volleyball, snorkeling, sailing, swimming, and on and on. Great beach, great people and great food. Sun in the morning, short rain showers to cool you off in the afternoon and then more sun.

Well I must be getting old since I deleted the previous post about our trip to Italy. I was editing away and looked up and it was gone. Oh well, if you have a broadband internet connection go check out the video from HERE. I'm still learning how to work this video capture device so the downloads are a little buggy. I recommend "right-clicking" the download and selecting "save target as". That seems to work the best. I have more pictures and videos to come, it's just going to take a while since I don't that much free time.

More Italy Pictures ready! Go check them out, there are some great ones from when we went hiking along the Cinque Terre trail. Also, I changed the Videos so you can click on a link and they will automatically download and then they should start playing automatically. Unfortunately a LOT of the time the download speeds are horribly slow. I guess that's what I get for using Free web hosting. If you get a slow download try it again later, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. You also have to be using Real Player version 8 to view them, I provided a link on the web page to download the player or get an upgrade.
